I recently revamped this website. I renamed most of the pages by changing the file extension from .shtml to .php. In the end I broke a lot of URLs. Yeah, that was bad, but there is a good solution for this problem: the
Smart 404.

I would really like to be able to say to my computer, "Computer, notify me via email or instant message when an online retailer sells product x for less than n dollars." Maybe
froogle.com should have a feature similar to
news.google.com.
